Word from the Head Teacher

Mbale High School has been teaching this city's children since the 1960s, and I have had the privilege of leading it since 2018. In that time we made guidance and counselling central to how the school is run, not as an extra activity tucked onto the timetable, but as part of daily life here, and the difference it has made in our students is one I see in front of me every term.

Our motto asks that whatever you do, you do it well, and that is what I want every learner to carry out of these gates: the habit of thinking for themselves, the discipline to earn an honest living, and the character to treat other people with respect. It is a simple standard, but holding to it, class after class and term after term, is the real work of this school.

Why Mbale High School?

We have educated children from Mbale and the districts around it since the 1960s. Here are a few reasons families keep choosing us.
