Boarding schools require careful attention to student health. Our sickbay handles the everyday and is supported by formal arrangements with Mbale Regional Referral Hospital for anything beyond.
Our on site sickbay is staffed by two registered nurses and a senior matron. It is open twenty four hours during term, equipped to handle minor illness, injury, and pre referral assessment.
Routine services include:
Parents: please complete the medical form at admission and update us immediately of any change in your child medical needs. We work best when we have your trust and the full picture.
Surgical cases, X rays, lab work beyond rapid tests, and major emergencies are referred to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital. Parents are contacted immediately. Boarders are accompanied by a member of staff to the hospital.
Public referral hospital. All emergency cases, surgical referrals, and pre exam health checks.
Anglican Diocese hospital. Outpatient services, scans, and minor surgical procedures.
